To start, go to System -> Configuration -> IWD -> Checkout Suite
GENERAL
Version
- Current installed version of the extension
Enable Module?
- Enable / disable the Checkout Suite for your store
Checkout Page Title
- Enter the meta title for your checkout page
License Status
- For PRO users, this will indicate the current status of your license. To learn about the different types of statuses, please see the Managing Your Product License section on the product license article.
Purchased Email
- For PRO users, enter the email address used to purchase the Checkout Suite. To learn about activating your license, please see the Managing Your Product License section on the product license article.
Default Shipping Method
- Select the default shipping method that will be selected for customers at checkout
Default Payment Method
- Select the default payment method that will be selected for customers at checkout
Show Subscribe to Newsletter
- Show checkbox “Subscribe to Newsletter”
Check Subscribe to Newsletter by Default
- Automatically have this checked for the customer
Always Show Shipping Form?
- If no, then the shipping address form will be hidden for customers
Show Comment Field?
- Show / hide the comment field
Show Discount Form?
- Show / hide the discount field
Show Gift Message Form?
- Show / hide the ability to gift an item being purchased
Show Custom Success Page with Registration Form?
- If yes, then a custom order confirmation page will be shown to customers after checkout. Guest users will have the option to create a customer account after checkout.
Show Login Button on Top-Left Corner of the Page
- Determine where you would like to show the Login button on your checkout page. If 'Yes' then the button will show above the first column in the checkout process. If 'No' then the login button will only show after the customer enters their email address and an account is located.
Assign Order to Customer if Customer were not Logged-In (by email)?
- If 'Yes' then an order will be assigned to a customer's account even if they are not logged-in to their account. The order will be assigned to the customer account that matches the email provided at checkout.
Payment Method Title Display Type
- Select how you would like to display the payment options on your checkout:
- Show Logo Only - only the payment method logos will appear
- Show Logo & Title - the payment method logo will appear with the payment title
- Show Title Only - only the payment method name will appear as text (no logo)
The following feature is for PRO users only.
General Settings
- Enable Module? - Set to yes in order to activate feature
- Automatically Retry Failed Transactions After X Days - Number of days until customer is charged again after failed payment
Emails
- New Subscription Email - Email sent to customer confirming new product subscription
- Cancel Subscription Email - Confirmation email sent to customer that they have canceled their subscription
- Update Subscription Email - Email sent to customer notifying them of updates made to their subscription
- Reorder Subscription Email - Email sent to customer when they renew their subscription
- End Trial Subscription Email - Email sent to customer notifying them that their trial period is about to expire
- Next Payment Subscription Email - Email sent to customer reminding them of their upcoming payment
- Payment Failed Subscription Email - Email sent to customer if their payment information is no longer valid
- Header for emails - Header for subscription emails
- Footer for emails - Footer for subscription emails
The following feature is for PRO users only.
General Settings
- Enable Module? - activate the address validation feature to validate the customer's shipping address with prominent shipping carriers
- Allow Checkout with Invalid Address - If yes, then customers with an invalid address will be able to place their order
UPS Address Validation
- UPS Login - Provide your UPS username
- UPS Password - Provide your UPS password
- UPS Access Key - Provide UPS account access key. Register an account with UPS and request an access key
- Display Address Type - ‘Yes’ - display type of address (residential or commercial) when suggested addresses are presented to the user
- Test Mode - Enable / disable test mode
USPS Address Validation
- USPS Account ID - Provide USPS account ID. You can create an account at USPS.com
- Test Mode - Enable / disable test mode
IMPORTANT: For USPS, be sure your account has access to USPS Address Information API. By default, account access is disabled so you will need to request permission to access Address Information APIs. More details
Google Validation
- API Key - enter your Google API Key in order to validate the shipping address using Google Maps. Generate your key here.
The following feature is for PRO users only.
General Settings
- Enable Store Credit? - activate store credits for your store
- Show Store Credit History to Customers - If enabled then customers can view the history of their store credits in their customer account
- Refund Store Credit Automatically - If enabled then store credit will be issued when creating a refund
Emails
- Store Credit Update Email Sender - Specify the email sender when notifying customers about store credits
- Store Credit Update Email Template - Email template used to notify customers of store credit
The following feature is for PRO users only.
General Settings
- Enable Gift Card Account - Set to 'Yes' to activate the gift cards feature for your store
Extended Settings
- Redeemable - If yes then customer's can redeem their gift cards for store credit
- Lifetime (days) - Enter a default amount of days gift cards in your still will be valid until. This can be adjusted per gift card if needed. Leave empty if gift cards will not expire.
- Gift Message Maximum Length - Set a limit to the number of characters that can be used when adding a message to a gift card being purchased as a gift.
- Generate Gift Card Account When Item Is... - Specify if the gift card is sent to the receipient once the order has been created or invoiced
Emails
- Gift Card Notification Email Sender - The store contact that appears as the sender of the gift card notification email. Email sent to customer after purchase.
- Gift Card Notification Email Template - Template for gift card notification email, sent to customer after purchase.
The following feature is for PRO users only.
General Settings
- Enable - Activate gift cards to be used in your store
- Code Length - Specify the length of the gift card code
- Code Format - Control if the gift card codes will be formatted as alphabetical, numeric, or alphanumeric
- Code Prefix - Specify any characters to be added to the beginning of the gift card code
- Code Suffix - Specify any characters to be added to the end of the gift card code
- Dash Every X Characters - The number of characters between each dash. If left blank, code will have no dashes.
- New Pool Size - Specify number of Gift Card codes that will be generated automatically
- Low Code Pool Threshold - Number of codes left befor admins will be notified about low pool size
Emails
- Gift Card Email Sender - Specify the email sender from the store if the gift card is created from the admin panel
- Gift Card Template - Select the email template used to deliver the gift card to customers
